Heli Skiing

It's undeniable—Revelstoke is the heli skiing capital of the world. The varied terrain, deep snow, and mild weather have made this place a top destination for thrill-seekers from around the world.

Cat Skiing

Explore the backcountry and discover untouched powder without having to commit to a helicopter. Snowcats ferry you up the mountain, drop you off for a guided descent, and pick you up at the bottom to start all over again.

Downhill Skiing

Revelstoke Mountain Resort offers excellent skiing opportunities for athletes of every skill level, including plenty of varied terrain perfect for novice skiers. More adventurous skiers will be thrilled by North America's greatest vertical (5,620 ft) and more than 3,000 acres of fall line skiing.

Cross-Country Skiing

The Revelstoke Nordic Ski Club maintains 26 kilometres of groomed trails on Mount Macpherson. Tour beautiful snow-covered forests by day or night—6 kilometres of trail are fully lit and open until 9PM every night.

Backcountry Touring

With the Monashees to the west and the Selkirks to the east, Revelstoke is a backcountry skier's mecca. If you're headed to Rogers Pass, make sure to pick up a permit and stay up-to-date on closures and avalanche conditions. Hiring a ski guide is never a bad idea, either.
